Every safe on this site is delivered free to any address in the Republic of Ireland. No delivery line at checkout, no surcharge for the west or the border counties, and no minimum spend. Typical delivery is 5 to 10 working days once your safe is in stock.

What free delivery actually means

Safes are heavy and awkward, so it is worth being clear about what arrives, when, and how far into the building it goes.

Free, nationwide, no conditions

Delivery is free on every product we sell, to every county in the Republic of Ireland. There is no delivery charge added at checkout and no minimum order value. A safe going to Donegal, Kerry or Mayo costs the same to deliver as one going across Dublin.

We contact you as soon as your order is placed, so you are never waiting on a tracking email that never comes. Once the safe is in stock, delivery usually takes 5 to 10 working days.

Doorstep delivery, and what to tell us first

Standard delivery is to your door. Smaller home safes are easy. Once you are into Eurograde models and fire files the weight climbs quickly, and a two person lift up a flight of stairs is a different job to wheeling one into a hall.

Tell us at the point of order if there are steps up to the door, a narrow hall or a turn on the stairs, or if the safe is going to an upper floor. We will tell you straight whether the model you are looking at is realistic for that spot, before it ships rather than after.

Installation and fixing, on request

Most safes under about 1,000kg are meant to be bolted down, and an unfixed safe is a safe that can be carried out of the house. We install on request anywhere in Ireland and quote based on the size and weight of the safe and what is in the way, such as flights of stairs or tight access.

Ask for an installation price at the same time as you order and we will include it. We are locksmiths first, so this is ordinary work rather than something we subcontract out.

All of them. Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Leitrim, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow.

We are based in Sandyford in Dublin, which is where the stock and the advice come from, but nothing about the price or the service changes with distance. For deliveries to Northern Ireland or elsewhere in the EU, contact us first and we will price it for you.

If it is not right

You have 14 days from receiving your safe to cancel as a consumer, without giving a reason. Full details are on our refunds and returns page, including the cancellation form.
